I would love to see something similar to what Daniel Katz suggested, like HG uses.

As a matter of habit, after the emailed report has been sent, I always send a text message to the client and agent letting them know this. They invariably respond with appreciation. I started doing this when (as noted in this thread) the client or agent was contacting me of the whereabouts of the report.

THIS is why we need to be able to check on whether or not our clients have viewed the report. The inspection was done on the 18th, report sent on the 19th, and on the 23rd she's asking if I sent the report.
Is it feasible to also send a text message when the report is published. That would let them know to look for it.
I'm supposing the access email ended up in her spam or junk or promotions folder.

Good afternoon!
I just wanted to check to see if the inspection report for (address redacted) has been completed?
Thank you,
Customer name redacted.

Some type of colored icon on the dashboard would be perfectly fine. Like what Gary has mocked up.

Here's an example from HG - the only thing they did right...

Then you could configure notifications as desired.

Daniel Katz: this is good.
Definitely not a text. Id be fine with a section in scribeware or an email.. I would create an email account just for alerts... Nothing beats follow up and they say report was great and they never even opened report.....
Also if i see they have not opened report. I like to gollow up that they did not miss it or it went to spam

Daniel Katz: Just a email would be nice

How do you actually want the notifications? Email? Mobile text alerts? an "activity feed" in the app?
Trent Tarter
Steve Lamb: I prefer email notifications.
Gary Smith
Trent Tarter: Just Saying - - - I like the email notify the client when the report is ready to pick up - however, if you tie that action directly to an arbitrary action of pushing the publish button on the desktop or mobile, you'll send a premature signal to the client (unless you only push publish once).
You know - now, we can publish the report and then re-publish without actually sending an email that we're done with the report. Not sure if that makes sense, but - you sure need to know, if you hit publish and it auto populates the email function - just know that your client could expect you to be 100% done with the report.

IDEA: Here's one way to show it - - - use a colored icon to indicate status.

I would love to have this.
Gary. When i was with homegauge i was debating on getting another email just for these.. It be my notification email. I could easily see who was looking all in on area.
Please in the notification... it be so helpful if the full address showed up.. I do alot of diffrent towns with similar named streets and numbers.
The icing on the cake would be the cover page shot in email so o can remember which hpuse it was.
Thank you
